In my sculptures, I like to capture a hint/idea of motion, a sense of dynamism (passage of time) even in stillness. A dancer moves to the rhythm, in rapture, having completely surrendered to the music, her body flowing with the sound. A guitarist playing a melody, a song which encapsulates the way I feel. These sculptures were inspired by moments which overwhelm me when music is truly felt.
